We expected Apple to usher in a new technology called ‘Hybrid Wireless Charging System.’ Our expectation was mostly fueled by Kuo’s report that predicted Hybrid Charging on iPhone 11. However, Kuo soon retreated and ate his words in September. Today, the US Patent & Trademark Office has published a patent from Apple that talks in length about reverse wireless charging on devices like iPhone, iPad, and MacBook.
