How to Switch to Four-Digit Passcode on iPhone or iPad

Whenever you set up a new iPhone, it will prompt you to enter a six-digit passcode after which you will have to set up Face ID or Touch ID. Up until iOS 8, Apple used a four-digit passcode but switched to a six-digit combination since the release of iOS 9 as it is more secure and complex.
