Apple’s A.I. efforts have received a huge boost as it has hired Google’s chief of search and artificial intelligence, John Giannandrea. Over at Apple, Giannandrea will be leading Apple’s “machine learning and A.I. strategy” and will be reporting directly to Tim Cook.
