Apple’s Services revenue climbs 18% due to strong App Store performance

Apple reported record earnings for the first fiscal quarter of 2107, but the shining star in the company’s portfolio was the services category which grew an impressive 18 percent year over year and 13 percent higher than last quarter. This explosive growth was fueled primarily by strong App Store performance.
